History on artist.Born in New Zealand in 1907, Cook studied at Canterbury University, New Zealand, and became a water-colourist and etcher. He taught at the East Sydney Technical College from 1940 and was a member of the Australian Watercolour Institute. His work is represented in several state galleries and in New Zealand galleries. He died in 1970.
